The North Dakota Supreme Court has upheld the robbery convictions of two Minot men who also were involved in a gun slaying. Man sentenced for exposing himself
A man has been ordered to serve a year in jail for exposing himself to a woman in her bank office. Police said Gary Davis entered the woman’s office with his zipper undone and a security camera showed Davis exposing himself four times. The 63-year-old Davis pleaded guilty Monday. He cited pressure and depression after his wife’s death as the main reasons for relapsed sexual offender behavior.July 23, 2008
Murder trial to get under way in Minot
Jury selection is set to begin here in the case of a man authorities say was killed after a fight involving a gun and a scythe. Antonio Stridiron, 32, of Minot, is charged with murder in the shooting death of Joshua Velas-quez, 27, last July 29. Bradley Davis, 27, of Minot, is charged with aggravated assault. The two have pleaded not guilty and are to be tried together. Attorneys on Monday are to start whittling down the jury pool, from 104 people down to 12 jurors and two alternates.June 23, 2008
