The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have LIFTED the No Travel Advisory in the southwest region of North Dakota but a No Travel Advisory remains in effect on U.S. Highway 85 from Belfield north to Grassy Butte.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation has expanded the No Travel Advisory to include the cities of Ellendale, Edgeley, Oakes, Litchville and surrounding areas due to snow and blowing snow causing near zero visibility. In addition, a Travel Alert has been issued for the areas of Grand Forks, Drayton and Cavalier due to snow causing slippery roads and reduced visibility.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol has issued a travel alert between Jamestown and Carrington, N.D., due to ice roads and poor visibility. THe patrol said visibility is down to 30 to 50 feet because of blowing snow and travel speeds are 33 to 45 mph.
Local Government Advisory Study Committee is scheduled at 8 p.m. April 6, in the Heritage Room of the Nafus Student Center located on the Jamestown College Campus, 800 Fifth Ave. N.E., Jamestown. The meeting is open to the public.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have lifted the no-travel advisory east of Bismarck, and in the Jamestown and Valley City areas, therefore removing all no-travel advisories on state and interstate highways.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have lifted the no-travel advisory in the Devils Lake area. At this time a no-travel advisory remains in effect east of Bismarck and in the Jamestown, Valley City and surrounding areas due to heavy snow, reduced visibility and icy conditions.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have issued a no-Travel Advisory for all state highways in south-central North Dakota due to heavy snow, reduced visibility and icy conditions. Cities included in the advisory include Jamestown, Valley City, Edgeley, Ellendale, Pingree, Underwood, Steele, Glen Ullin, Napoleon, Linton, Flasher and surrounding areas.
