An altercation between fans Friday night after the Sioux-Gopher hockey game at Ralph Engelstad Arena on UND’s campus led to one man being hospitalized in serious condition and another jailed on serious charges.

Arguments and fights can start for any reason, but Jamestown Public Schools officials pinpointed Wednesday’s altercation down to a few.
Stress and anxiety were likely some of the factors contributing to Wednesday’s incident at Jamestown High School.
Two students argued in the cafeteria area around lunchtime Wednesday and an altercation ensued involving about five students, said Jamestown Police Chief Dave Donegan.
About four or five students were involved with an altercation in the Jamestown High School lunch area Wednesday, according to the James-town Police De-partment.
The incident was under control when police arrived around noon, said Police Chief Dave Donegan.
