JC inducts three to Alumni Hall of Fame

The Jamestown College Alumni Association announces three individuals have been selected for induction into the Jamestown College Alumni Hall of Fame for 2010. Bruce Berg, Jamestown; Rodney Melgard, Pinole, Calif.; and Seattle Sutton, Marseilles, Ill., will be recognized at a dinner in their honor on Friday, and during the commencement ceremony on Saturday.

Alumni beats JHS

The Jamestown alumni soccer team defeated the Jamestown High School boys’ soccer team 7-0 on Saturday. Caleb Sorenson scored twice as six different players scored in all. Also scoring were Ryan Kleinknecht, Ross Perleberg, Todd Brossart, Jay Anderson and Ben Lee.

Jamestown College plans homecoming

Jamestown College will welcome alumni and friends back to the campus for Homecoming 2008 Friday and Saturday. The popular Street Fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Jimmies will take on Minot State at 1 p.m. Saturday in the homecoming football game.

Four JC alumni to be presented honors

Jamestown College will recognize four alumni at the opening convocation at 11 a.m. on Sept. 25 in the Reiland Fine Arts Center. The public is invited to attend. The Rev. Leonard Dahl and the Honorable Ralph Erickson will be inducted into the James-town College Alumni Hall of Fame. Dr. Ida Allen Bergman and Jeremy Wells will receive the Young Alumni Medallion.
