A Jamestown woman in an all-terrain vehicle crash June 18 has died from injuries received, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department.
Marna Falk, 77, 1124 Western Park Village, was giving her two grandsons, Joshua Foster, 6, and Joseph Foster, 6, a ride on an Arctic Cat 400 4-wheeler around 3:15 p.m. at the driveway of her farm.
The North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with Fresh Air Educators, Inc. to offer a new off-highway vehicle safety education course on the Internet, through www.ATVCourse.com. This online course, developed by Fresh Air Educators, Inc. features a narrated and interactive study guide, as well as visual exam and quiz questions. In North Dakota, all persons between the ages of 12 to 16 who do not have a valid driver’s license are required to have an OHV safety certificate to operate any ATV or OHV on public land in the state.
