Auditions for performers for the 2010 Medora Musical will be held in North Dakota and Minnesota beginning in February.
The Medora Musical is an outdoor, western musical variety show held in the 2,852-seat, Burning Hills Amphitheatre. Twelve singer/dancers (The Burning Hills Singers), six musicians (The Coal Diggers), a host and several variety and comedy acts are hired each season.
Auditions are set for the Community Theatre’s production of the Neil Simon comedy “Plaza Suite” and its director Lori Dorr is looking for cast and crew.
“I want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to be involved,” Dorr said. “This is a chance to help rebuild community theatre here.”
Sleepy Hollow Summer Theatre is celebrating its 20th season by following the yellow brick road to “The Wizard of Oz” and moving down the road to “Into the Woods.” All performances are outdoors in the amphitheatre at Sleepy Hollow Arts Park in Bismarck with respective dates of July 12-21 and July 26-Aug. 1.
The LaMoure County Summer Musical Theatre will hold auditions for their summer show, “The Music Man.” Auditions will be held at several different locations.
