The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a vehicle in Ypsilanti. A 2001 maroon or burgundy Jeep sports utility vehicle was stolen from the area near Cuz’n Ron’s Saloon between 1:50 a.m. and 4 a.m. Friday.

ATLANTA — Fatal car crashes involving teen drivers fell by about a third over five years, according to a new federal report that partly credits the drop to tougher state limits on younger drivers.
The number of deaths tied to these accidents fell dramatically from about 2,200 in 2004 to 1,400 in 2008, said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report.

“He kind of came in with a roar,” said his father, Jordan Gackle of Kulm, N.D.
Baby Leo was born three days early Tuesday, in the back seat of his parents’ car.
Bob Long’s 1908 Maxwell may be one of the oldest and most reliable cars on the road.
Long said the 102-year-old car is in original condition and has never been restored. The car’s original green paint job has faded to black over the last century but it still runs. It has a two-cylinder engine and brass gas-burning headlights
