Arment aces Modified Special
Kent Arment cashed in after getting a call to go his way. The Aberdeen WISSOTA Modified driver got a 50-50 ruling on an early yellow that put him on the pole, and he took advantage of it, going wire-to-wire to win the Mod special Saturday night at the Jamestown Speedway. It was a tough-luck outing for WISSOTA Modified driver Jerry Lamb Saturday night. The veteran from Lisbon led late in both Mod features at the Jamestown Speedway, but was unable to seal the deal. Busch picks up his fifth win
Kyle Busch snapped the slump that plagued him the past two weeks, racing to his first Sprint Cup Series win on a road course Sunday at Infineon Raceway. Busch, who had a poor qualifying run and started 30th, steadily moved through the field and grabbed the lead away from defending race winner Juan Pablo Montoya on an early restart. Nobody came close to taking the lead from Busch the rest of the way, but he did have to hold off a pair of challenges on two late restarts.June 23, 2008
