The Southeast Region of the North Dakota Highway Patrol issued 237 citations during a campaign targeting registration violations.
The campaign, conducted Feb. 8-14, began and ended with snow, blowing snow and terrible road conditions, the patrol said.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol issued fewer citations over the Memorial Day weekend than it did last year.
Troopers handed out 1,138 tickets, 49 fewer than last year.
There were 640 speeding citations and 25 drunken driving arrests.
