Frontcourt players took a back seat when the 2013 Class A all-state boys basketball team was selected.
As chosen by the state Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, the first team consists of three pure guards and three rovers.
A.J. Jacobson of state champion Fargo Shanley is the focal point of the team. He won a triple crown of sorts by winning a state championship, earning the Class A senior athlete award and claiming Mr. Basketball honors.

BISMARCK — This was quite the rebuilding season for Bismarck Century.
Hannah Larson was the lone non-senior starter a year ago when Century defeated West Fargo 63-60 in the 2011-12 championship game of the North Dakota Class A girls high school basketball tournament.
