Detroit Lakes, Minn., will hold a community dance and concert with Minneapolis-based artist Tim Mahoney from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Detroit Lakes Pavilion right by the city beach.
For most surprise parties, the guest of honor is usually the one to be surprised.

Bob Dylan’s “Never Ending Tour” is coming back around, making its fifth stop in Fargo.
According to the Ticketmaster website, the rock icon plays his fourth Fargo show in 13 years at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 19 at the Fargo Civic Center.
The site says tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster locations. Tickets are $54 with $9.50 in fees and additional taxes.

Fans dance and sing along to the contemporary Christian music of Aaron Shust Tuesday while attending the Called to Love Tour at the Jamestown Civic Center. Lynette Stoddart of the Civic Center said 650 people attended the concert.
The Jamestown College Chamber Orchestra and Valley City Civic Orchestra will present concerts in both Valley City and Jamestown.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Valley City State University’s Vangstad Auditorium and 7:30 p.m. April 14 in Jamestown College’s Voorhees Chapel. Both performances are free and open to the public.
