North Dakota’s Supreme Court has upheld an attempted murder conviction against a man who shot a police officer during a siege at a rural Steele County home.
The court’s unanimous ruling says there was enough evidence that Darin Dahl knew what he was doing, and that he could help his lawyer during his trial.
Agri-Cover, Inc., James-town, an-nounced the addition of Britta Dahl to its marketing department. As graphic designer, she will oversee the creation of print and online advertisements and literature for ACI.
Dahl has a degree in draphic design from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., and brings more than a year of experience to her new position with ACI. She is originally from Fargo and will be based out of the Jamestown factory.
The New York Giants have waived former North Dakota State safety Craig Dahl.
Dahl reportedly tore a knee ligament in an exhibition game Saturday. He suffered a similar injury in last year’s regular-season finale and eventually was released. The Giants re-signed him in late July.

Dahl was a free agent with the Giants last year, but hurt his knee in the last game of the regular season. His agent, Dave Butz, had predicted Dahl would get another chance after he proved his knee could withstand the NFL.
