An Oklahoma man accused of hiring his handyman to kill a North Dakota dentist is being brought to North Dakota to face charges.

A hearing has been set in the custody battle in-laws of Philip Gattuso are waging over the slain dentist’s orphaned 3-year-old girl.
Roy Gattuso, brother of the Fargo dentist, said a court hearing in Oklahoma has been tentatively set for Nov. 12. The Gattusos want North Dakota authorities to take protective custody of the girl, who is now in the care of a maternal aunt.
The father-in-law of slain Fargo periodontist Philip Gattuso reportedly admitted to police that he not only hired his handyman to kill Gattuso, but also videotaped Gattuso’s residence for the accused killer about two weeks before the Oct. 26 homicide, according to court documents.
Gene Carl Kirkpatrick, 63, of Oklahoma City, was charged Tuesday in Cass County District Court with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit burglary.
