Voters will select two people to serve a four-year term in District 12 in the North Dakota House of Representatives. Early voting begins Oct. 20. Democratic incumbents Lyle Hanson and Joe Kroeber are seeking re-election. Republican challenger Dallas Rosin is seeking election. The Sun asked 10 written questions of these candidates. Republican Districts 12 and 29 had their monthly meeting and plans were completed for meet the candidates.
Local candidates are Sen. David Nething and Dallas Rosin for the House of Representatives. There will be a chili feed at 5 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Bunker and the public is invited. Gov. John Hoeven will be the guest and all state GOP officials have been invited.
