Duluth Police Sgt. Brad Wick used justifiable force when he shot and killed robbery suspect Brian Cayce Butala on Aug. 28, according to findings released Wednesday by St. Louis County Attorney Mark Rubin. “It would be hard to imagine a case in which deadly force would be more justifiable,” Rubin said of the case. Duluth man sentenced for stabbing incident
A man who pleaded guilty to stabbing another man outside a bar on Cloquet Avenue in December 2009 was sentenced in Carlton County Court this week on one misdemeanor count of fifth-degree non-domestic assault.
