A tour of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum begins in a bright area representing his early domestic agenda, but with one turn, visitors find themselves in a darkened room surrounded by chilling reminders of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
For the 111th time the Stutsman County Fair opens at 4 p.m. today with carnival rides, food, nightly entertainment and 4-H exhibits. This year it’s a four-day event, with two days of promotions on carnival rides. That’s the part young people in the area will probably enjoy the most. Also for the youngsters, the fair includes a petting zoo to get up close and touch some very different animals.
