Nobody was hurt in a fire at a power plant near Wheatland.
Platte County officials said sheriff’s dispatchers got a report around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday of people trapped in a roof collapse at the Laramie River Station.
Strong winds Tuesday stoked fires, and made travel difficult for high-profile vehicles.
Winds blew steady around 39 mph throughout the day and gusted up to 55 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

BISMARCK (AP) — State emergency services officials are warning about a high fire danger for all of western and portions of central North Dakota.
