Camp sites at Fort Lincoln State Park south of Mandan are open but flood cleanup work continues.
Late-March flooding caused by river ice jams hit the park hard. Park officials say some camp sites could be without electricity, restrooms and trailer dump stations through Memorial Day.
Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park south of Mandan is closed and won’t reopen until flooding threats have eased.
Several areas of the park went under water March 23 when the Heart River rose. Park manager Dan Schelske said the water has receded but overland flooding will remain a problem.
