Minnesota authorities said Friday they were turning to an international law enforcement agency for help finding a woman and her 13-year-old son on the run from court-ordered cancer treatment for the boy.
Interpol, which coordinates police investigations across national borders, was joining the effort to find Colleen and Daniel Hauser.

Daniel Hauser doesn’t think he’s ill, and he thinks chemotherapy will kill him. The 13-year-old with Hodgkin’s lymphoma told a judge he got so sick he couldn’t walk the one time he got the treatment.
“I’d fight it if I had to take it again,” Daniel said, according to a transcript of his court testimony.
