Construction has begun on a half-mile segment of Old Highway 10, County Road 40, from the city of Spiritwood east to the junction with County Road 62, according to a release from Interstate Engineering in Jamestown.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have opened US Highway 52, one mile south of Minot. Water is on roadway but it is open to traffic with reduced speeds.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is reporting water on the northbound and southbound roadway on US Highway 83 approximately nine miles north of Max, N.D. Traffic is allowed, but speeds are reduced to 15 mph.

US Highway 85 is blocked from the junction of ND 50 to ND 5 in northwest North Dakota due to heavy snow drifts. In addition, ND Highway 50 is blocked from the junction of US 85 to ND 42 near Alamo due to a traffic incident.
A public information meeting on proposed improvements to N.D. Highway 46 near Gackle, N.D., is planned for next month.
The meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 15 at the Gackle Senior Center, 316 Main St., Gackle. The meeting will utilize an open house format with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m.
The Stutsman County Commission approved a grade raise to County Highway 62 between Interstate 94 and Spiritwood during a special meeting Wednesday. The contract for $630,000 was awarded to Lindberg Brothers Construction.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol will join law enforcement agencies throughout the state as part of a life-saving enforcement effort. From Nov. 11 through Nov. 20, troopers will join more than 60 other law-enforcement agencies for a ‘Click It or Ticket’ mobilization. Seat belt and child restraint laws will be strictly enforced.
