Area North Dakota students were among the 2,825 North Dakota State University students to be placed on the fall 2009 dean’s list.
A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify.
Samantha Ann Zuck of Jamestown is among students named to the fall semester 2009 dean’s list at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
To qualify for a place on the dean’s list, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded (A-F) credits while attaining a 3.50 grade point average.
Ryan Bauer has been named to the dean’s list at Colorado Technical University, Sioux Falls, S.D. He had a 3.9 GPA.
Bauer is the son of Kelly Bauer, Pingree, N.D., and Charla Bauer, Sioux Falls.
He graduated from Pingree-Buchanan High School in 2009.
Alex Looysen, son of Steve and Barb Looysen, Jamestown, has been admitted to North Dakota State University “With Distinction.” He will enter NDSU in fall 2010 and plans to major in biology/pre-medicine. Distinction means that NDSU is acknowledging Looysen as an honor student.
Erin Christ, daughter of Jacki Christ, Wimbledon, N.D., and the late Scott Christ, has been admitted to North Dakota State University “With Distinction.” She will enter NDSU in fall 2010 and plans to major in pre-veterinary medicine. Distinction means that NDSU is acknowledging Christ as an honor student.
