The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a travel alert for the southwest region of North Dakota due to challenging winter driving conditions including blowing snow, reduced visibility and icy road conditions.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a no travel advisory around 6:50 tonight for the central and south west regions of North Dakota due to blowing snow that is sticking to the roadway causing very icy conditions.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a no travel advisory at around 6 p.m. for the southwest region of the state including Interstate 94 west of Richardton to the Montana border, all areas west of Highway 8 to the Montana border and south of Highway 200 to the South Dakota border in Richardton, Mott, Bowman, Hettinger, Dickinson, Beach, Belfield areas due to freezing rain and snow causing icy roads making travel hazardous.
