In late August, I asked subscribers to tell us here at The Jamestown Sun what they wanted from the comics page.
I received more than 40 responses over the following month. Most were very friendly and expressed happiness at being able to have a hand in shaping their newspaper.
The second annual Family Expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Civic Center offers even more for family members to do, see and experience than last year.
For young and old, there’s the Amazing Magic Show in a new addition to the expo. Magic Blake promises to provide a show that stretches the imagination and entertains. It’s at 5 p.m.

We here at The Jamestown Sun wonder if our comics page needs changes in its lineup. And we’d like your input.
No decision has been made on whether to replace any comics. None will be made without lots of consideration and subscriber feedback (more on that later).

The 16-page section features team previews of Jamestown College and Jamestown High School. Jamestown College opens the season at home Sept. 6 against Peru State (Neb.), while the Blue Jays kick it off on Aug. 30 at Rollie Greeno Field, hosting Grand Forks Central.
