People from all over Jamestown will go on a “March for Jesus” on Sunday to celebrate Pentecost. The event will begin at 1 p.m. with birthday cake at the Zebedee Center at St. John’s Academy. At 2 p.m., there will be a one-mile prayer march to several churches and other locations in the downtown area.
For the sixth time since 2001, Temple Baptist Church is presenting the “Passion Play” over Easter weekend.
The production, which has more than 60 cast members, was written by Deb Kercher. It tells the story of the last week Jesus spent on earth. The play opens with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and ends with his trial, crucifixion and resurrection.
