Phil Hansen, a North Dakota native who played 11 seasons with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills after being drafted in 1991, will speak about financial life after the NFL at the fourth annual North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition Spring Conference. The theme is “Reflections of Financial Literacy.”

Tyger Schrader, son of Anna and Dwight Schrader of Jamestown, recently won a drawing contest sponsored by the North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition. Tyger attended Marketplace for Kids and stopped at the Jump$tart to participate in its contest, which asked children to draw a picture of something for which they were willing to save money.
Tyger drew a detailed lakeside home to earn a $50 savings bond from the North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition. Tyger is 11 and will start sixth grade this fall.
