Officials are moving to revoke the probation of a man who served about 15 years in prison for raping four Fargo women.
A petition to revoke Gero Mahto’s probation has been drafted and sent to court officials in Cass County, John Knutson, a state parole and probation officer, said Wednesday.
Registered high-risk sex offender Gero Mahto, 38, who was living in Ranch House Motel rooms 2 and 3 in Jamestown, was arrested Monday for possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing a police officer, and he violated the conditions of his parole by possessing alcohol, according to Police Chief David Donegan.
