The Make-A-Wish Foundation has helped organize Alaskan deep-sea fishing trip for a 20-year-old Dickinson man.
The Dickinson Press reported that Matthew Jahner was granted his wish after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November 2008 while attending Dickinson High School.
Fighting leukemia has forced Isaak Hoff to miss a lot of school, but this was one day the 8-year-old didn’t mind skipping class.
About 200 students and a 34-foot stretch limo surprised Isaak Friday morning outside Lisbon Elementary School in a secretly planned sendoff for his Make-a-Wish Foundation shopping spree in Fargo.

Young Emma Phillips had always enjoyed horses and rodeos. Yet, it was difficult for this Wyoming, Minn., girl to fully appreciate the reins because she has had terminal cancer since she was 2.
However, thanks to Western Wishes, Emma, now 7, has been able to travel to Texas, meet riding coach Chris Cox and learn about the western way of life.
