A contractor who left North Dakota more than 20 years ago wants to invest in his home state.
“North Dakota has treated me well, and now it’s time to bring some of that back,” Minot native Dean Myers said.
The Myers family descendents of Hugh and Amelia Myers met on July 19 at the “Bunker” in Jamestown. Hugh and Amelia Myers were parents to six sons and two daughters. Two of their children are still living. Glenn Myers, Valley City, and Phyllis Christensen, Centuria, Wis., and 67 members of the family from seven states attended the reunion.
Glenn Myers celebrated his 100th birthday on Aug. 12. The family celebrated his birthday at the re-union.
