West Acres is doing its part to cushion the stress caused by flooding in Minot, N.D.
The shopping mall recently purchased new furniture for its public spaces, and it has sent a good share of its old furniture to nonprofit organizations in Minot, which was hit with heavy flooding last summer.
Ultimately, up to 20 sofas, 20 coffee tables and as many as four dozen chairs could make their way west, said Rusty Papachek, West Acres general manager.
