SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Coach Don Nelson is expected to part ways with the Golden State Warriors Monday, an NBA source told The AP , possibly ending the career of the league’s victory leader.
The source spoke on condition of anonymity Thursday because the surprising move by new team owner Joe Lacob likely won’t be announced until the start of the Warriors’ training camp next week.
A Duluth woman who said she hated female police officers and carried two knives that she referred to as her “slicers and dicers” is accused of using or attempting to use deadly force against a female and male police officer and of three other crimes.
Leah Lynn Nelson, 37, was charged Tuesday in St. Louis County District Court with two counts of first-degree assault of a peace officer, as well as second- and third-degree assault.

The season did not end the way the Jamestown High School gymnastics team would have liked it to.
That can’t be said for Minot and their junior star Brooklyn Bender.
The Blue Jays had just four top 15 finishes, three by freshman Alex Lind, during Saturday’s individual state meet at the Jamestown High School gym.
Lind, who missed a month of the season after a sustaining a scary crash during practice, rebounded to place fourth in on the beam, 15th on vault and 13th overall to lead the Blue Jays.
Carly Nelson, a sophomore, had the only other all-state performance, placing 10th on beam.
A St. Michael man accused of sexually abusing a girl for five years has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Authorities say 47-year-old Danny Nelson pleaded guilty to a charge of continual sexual abuse of a child in September.
Authorities say Nelson sexually abused the girl from when she was 11 years old until she was 15.
Leah Nelson, Jamestown, received the UND Honors Program Tuition Waiver from the University of North Dakota for the 2009-2010 academic year. Nelson, daughter of Cory and Gayle Nelson, graduated from James-town High School and is at-tending UND this fall.
A 20-point lead in the WISSOTA Street Stocks point standings at Jamestown Speedway evaporated for Valley City’s Luke Nelson last Saturday night.
Nelson’s black No. 19 car was helped around in turn four with 10 laps remaining in the evening’s feature race, making head-first contact with the track’s inside wall. Nelson needed a tow back to the pits, and was later scored as finishing in 18th place out of the 19 Streets that started the feature.
