The North Dakota Supreme Court has upheld the convictions of a man and his fiancee who were sentenced to life in prison for the deaths of a rural North Dakota couple.
Aron Nichols and Tamara Sorenson, of Fargo, were convicted in deaths of Donald Willey and his wife, Alice.
Norma Ann “Mannie” Nichols, 71, Saginaw, Minn., formerly of Courtenay, N.D., died Wednesday, March 15, 2009, in Cloquet (Minn.) Memorial Hospital.
Norma Kubis was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Courtenay, the daughter of Lawrence and Ellen “Vernie” Kubis.
