After 33 and a half years as a county agent for the NDSU Extension Service Tom Olson is retiring, but he won’t give up his love for agriculture and helping out the producer who needs a hand.
“I’m going to work with Farm Rescue and spend more time with family,” he said. “I got involved in the startup of Farm Rescue when I met Bill Gross in December 2004. Bill had the idea and needed some contacts. When they incorporated I became the vice president.”
More winter wheat is going into the ground in North Dakota, while more harvested spring wheat and durum is leaving bins on farms in the state.
