He is described as a black male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He drives a tan 1996 Nissan Maxima with Minnesota license plate UVZ149.

A high-risk sex offender has moved to James-town, according to the James-town Police Department. Gero Davis Mahto, 42, has moved to 908 Third Ave. SE. Mahto was convicted of gross sexual imposition. During a three-month period in 1992, he raped four women. He was convicted on Sept. 22, 1992, in Cass County District Court and sentenced to 10 years on each count, with 106 days credit.
