OSLO, Norway — The self-described perpetrator of Norway’s deadly bombing and shooting rampage was ordered held in solitary confinement Monday after calmly telling a court that two other cells of collaborators stood ready to join his murderous campaign.

OSLO, Norway (AP) — The Nobel Peace Prize may not be handed out this year because China is not likely to let anyone from imprisoned award-winner Liu Xiaobo's family attend the ceremony, a Nobel official said, calling China's diplomatic pressure this year unprecedented.
Police say thieves stole a valuable artwork by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch from an Oslo art dealer.
Police spokeswoman Britt Boerve said Friday the thieves stole “Historien” — or “History” — from Nyborgs Kunst, a private art dealership in downtown Oslo, after smashing one of the dealership’s windows with a stone.
As the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth approaches, efforts are under way to bring a group of people with ties to North Dakota to Norway to honor Lincoln at a bust of the 16th president in Oslo.
This trip, scheduled for June 20 through June 30, is commemorating both the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and the 1914 trip led by then-Gov. Louis Hanna when he presented a heroic size bust of Lincoln from the people of North Dakota during Norway’s 100th anniversary celebration of its constitution and declaration as an independent nation.
An Oslo, Minn., team has won Minto’s annual best bologna competition for a record fifth time.
