Cally Musland, Miss Northern Lights, will compete for the title of Miss North Dakota in Williston June 6-8. Competition will be at the Williston High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. with preliminaries on Thursday and Friday and the finals on Saturday evening.
The search is on for the next Miss Teen North Dakota International 2013. Applications are now being accepted. The winner will advance to the North Dakota International Pageant, where she will compete with girls from around the state for the title of Miss Teen North Dakota International 2013.
Mrs. North Dakota, Miss North Dakota and Miss Teen North Dakota International Pageants state finals were Dec. 3 in Fargo.
The winners were Mrs. North Dakota Ashley Voigt, a speech-language specialist employed by Beyond Boundaries of Fargo, Miss ND International 2012 Erica Lemna, a nursing student at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and Miss Teen ND International 2012 Olivia Naylor, Fargo.
Local titleholders will be competing for the state crown and arriving in Jamestown on Friday. During the pageant weekend, local titleholders will be given a proclamation by the mayor on Saturday morning.
Five contestants are vying to serve as ambassadors for the state and the sport of rodeo during the Miss Rodeo North Dakota Pageant to be held Oct. 6 to 9 in Minot. The pageant, in its 57th year, is being held in conjunction with the Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo, a championship for contestants from North Dakota and South Dakota competing in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.
The Mrs. North Dakota - America Pageant Weekend is planned for Oct. 14-16 in Jamestown. Local titleholders will be competing for the state crown and arriving in Jamestown on Friday, Oct 14. During the pageant weekend, local titleholders will be on location, meeting the mayor, participating in a photo shoot throughout the city (visiting local attractions), styling in a fashion show at the Buffalo Mall on Oct. 15 and more.
The Carrington Youth Pageant will be held at 5 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Carrington Elementary School. The age categories are Little Miss: first grade through third grade; Pre-Teen Miss: fourth through sixth grade; Junior Miss: seventh through eighth grade; and Teen Miss: ninth through eleventh grade.
