Electric consumers served by Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative have been experiencing extensive electric outages that began at approximately 5:30 p.m. today as a severe wind storm passed through the area.
BISMARCK (AP) — Three rural electric cooperatives in southwest and central North Dakota that have been working to restore electricity since a Good Friday snow storm say about 600 people remain without power.
Gov. John Hoeven today issued a snow emergency order activating all state agencies and resources in response to a strong spring storm impacting much of southwestern and central North Dakota between April 1 through 4.
A spring storm has caused widespread outages in Otter Tail Power Co.’s service area, south and east of Garrison, N.D.
