Linton-Hazleton-Moffit-Braddock’s front row was just too overpowering for the Ellendale Cardinals at the Region 3 volleyball tournament in Linton on Tuesday night. Knights crowned champs of Region 3
The Dakota Prairie Knights were crowned Class B baseball’s Region 3 champs on Tuesday, after storming past the New Rockford-Sheyenne Black Sox 11-0 in the title tilt at Harvey’s L.C. Loerch Field. Kyle Lamb came up huge for the Knights during the game. No. 1 Linton the team to beat
No matter how much talent and depth a team possesses, there’s always room to grow. Just ask veteran high school basketball coach Dan Carr (559 career wins). Carr has piloted the Linton Lions boys’ basketball program to a perfect 20-0 record this year, while holding down the No. 1 ranking in the state’s Class B basketball poll all season. Pirates headed to state
For the third time in last the five years, Kidder County is heading to the state Class B girls’ basketball tournament, after defeating Litchville-Marion-Montpelier 52-35 for the Region 3 title on Friday in Hazelton. The Lady Pirates’ Lindsey Sand led Kidder County to the win with a game-high 18 points, four assists and three steals.
