A rescue official said four bodies have been found in a mountainous area where a helicopter carrying a Romanian and six Israelis crashed Monday during military training exercises, a Romanian news agency reported.
North Dakota National Guard commander David Sprynczynatyk has re-turned from a two-week trip overseas.
Sprynczynatyk met with the commander of U.S. Africa Command in Germany, observed North Dakota Air National Guard construction engineers working in Romania, and participated in several meetings and activities in the African nation of Ghana.
Some Fargo-based North Dakota Air National Guard members have been deployed to Romania.
Guard spokeswoman Penny Ripperger said 43 engineers with the 119th Wing left Fargo on Sunday for a two-week deployment.
