Holidays are times of family gatherings. They are also a prime time for sharing family memories. Passing on personal and family memories is one of the things that make us human. It allows us to share who we are, connect across the generations and further those values that we hold dear.
Eunice Sahr, extension agent for Stutsman County, reviewed the services the North Dakota State Univer-sity extension program provides. The areas Sahr specializes in are nutrition, food safety and health but the extension program includes more. The extension program provides after-school programs as well as the 4-H youth development program. In the past year more than 250 youth in Stutsman County were involved in 4-H programs.
