A Traill County bridge that’s believed to be among the oldest in North Dakota is slated for restoration.
The state Department of Transportation and the State Historical Society of North Dakota are working together on the $700,000 project to restore the Viking Bridge.

Traill County officials are pondering their next move after voters overwhelmingly rejected a proposed $7.4 million courthouse addition and jail project — for the second time this year.
The earliest a referendum on the issue could be placed before voters again would be June 2010.
