Letter to the editor: Miss ND story should have been on front page

A buffalo chip to The Jamestown Sun for not headlining Bismarck’s Miss North Dakota being crowned Miss America. This is something we North Dakotans should be proud of; yet, The Sun failed to acknowledge this history-making event on the front page. I know reporters work daily to cover interesting and important events and issues in the state. However, I feel that this story was more important than that of the tobacco ban, whose title was highlighted in big, bold, capital letters, being nixed in outdoor facilities.

The Miss America story should have made headlines on the front page of every North Dakota newspaper.
