Country star adds Fargodome show

FARGO — Country star Luke Bryan is scheduled to play the Fargodome on Feb. 28, according the singer’s website.

Ticket information has not been announced.

Bryan had a big year in 2012. He swept the American Country Awards, taking home nine trophies, including Album of the Year for “Tailgates and Tanlines,” Single of the Year for “I Don’t Want this Night to End” and Artist of the Year. He also won the 2012 Academy of Country Music Award for Entertainer of the Year.

That summer Bryan played WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn., going on before the night’s headliner, Jason Aldean.

Bryan landed his first top 10 hit with 2007’s “All My Friends Say.” He followed that up with No. 1 hits “Rain is a Good Thing,” “Someone Else Calling You Baby,” “I Don’t Want this Night to End,” “Drunk on You” and his latest, “That’s My Kind of Night.”

Bryan is touring behind his new album, “Crash My Party.” Released in August, the disc sold more than a million copies by Oct. 3.
