Kramlich receives English honors

Savannah Kramlich has been named the Jamestown High School English Department’s December Student of the Month. Her English teacher, Daysha Conway, said she was nominated because of her hard work ethic, her active participation in class, her attention to important details, her writing talent, her positive attitude about learning, and her desire to work hard and be the best student she can be.

Kramlich is a sophomore at JHS. She participates in golf and gymnastics and is active at her church, Temple Baptist, as an AWANA teacher. Kramlich enjoys spending time with her young sister and brother, shopping and scrapbooking with her mom, helping her grandmother cook, watching movies, spending time with her friends, camping and reading.

Kramlich’s goal is to attend college after graduation at the University of Jamestown and major in pre-optometry. After that, she plans to attend Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., to complete her optometry degree and return to North Dakota to start her career.

Kramlich is the daughter of Troy and Beth Ann Kramlich of Jamestown and the granddaughter of Valentena Erbele of Bismarck.
