Century defeats Jamestown for Class A volleyball crown

Fargo Shanley students march in Washington, D.C.

About 300 students from Shanley High School in Fargo traveled to Washington, D.C., to march in the 42nd annual protest of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in the 1973 Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion. Shanley students led the march and were chosen to carry the lead banner. The trip included about 300 of the 330-member student body of ninth- through 12th-graders, 20 Shanley staff members and 55 parent chaperones. Reuters
