Speakers to be at First Assembly
Jamestown First Assembly is continuing with Missions Convention on Sunday, Oct.
29. The featured speaker for the 10:30 a.m. service will be Huldah Buntain, founder and president of Calcutta Mercy Ministries in India. Buntain and her late husband, the Rev. Dr. Mark Buntain, established holistic inner city and outreach ministries consisting of more than 200 schools with 32,000 children including a school for the blind, 900 churches, five Bible schools, daily street and school-feeding programs for 25,000, a nursing school, teacher’s training college, vocational school and a full general Mercy Hospital that has treated 2.2 million people and provided free care to 880,000 patients. The 6 p.m. service will feature Matt Nelsen with International Media Ministries. Nelsen and his wife, Rachel, arrived in Madrid, Spain, with their family in 2013 where they have been serving with International Media Ministries. International Media Ministries partners with missionaries, national churches and media outlets to develop innovative access to the Gospel by producing creative content for evangelism and training others to use media to reach people for Christ in their own cultures.
