Century defeats Jamestown for Class A volleyball crown

UPC Relay team sets fundraiser

The UPC Relay for Life Team invites the community to its annual baked potato cancer fundraiser along with a silent auction and Country Store. There will be baked goods, holiday crafts, many new and nearly new household items.  The event starts at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the Fellowship Hall of the United Presbyterian Church at 302 2nd Ave. SE.  Enter through the glass doors on the northwest side.  Elevator also located there.  The meal is a freewill offering.

Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser of the National Cancer Society and the Stutsman County Chapter has been active in this event for many years.  The community may contribute to the fight on

cancer by attending this fundraiser.  The money raised by all teams will be turned in for the Relay on June 8, 2018, at the University of Jamestown Taylor Stadium where all can walk the track in memory of those who lost the battle, for those who are survivors, for those recently diagnosed with cancer and given hope because of research, and support for caregivers.
