St. Paul’s holds blood drive
St. Paul’s Methodist Church sponsored a blood drive on Oct. 17 in Jamestown.
Weldon Roberts, donor recruitment representative at United Blood Services, said 43 people volunteered to donate, and 32 able to give. Two people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine that collects two units of red blood cells which resulted in 34 total products.
Karen Aman coordinated the drive, Bluette Clancy was co-coordinator, and Barb Ferguson did the calling. St. Paul’s United Methodist Church assisted with publicity, providing refreshments and registering donors. Others who assisted the day of the drive include: Darlene Diede, Jim Johnson, Julie Wayne, Sandy Washburn, LaVina Kleese, Darlene Dewald, Dorothy Speidel, Mary Walicski, Carlla Maki, Ileene Albin, Vi Gienger and Al Aman.
Space to hold the drive was provided at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
