SENIOR MENU, ACTIVITIES APRIL 23-29
James River Senior Center serves a hot meal Monday through Friday at noon at Center I and at Gardenette and James House, and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Streeter Senior Center in Streeter.
Meal cost: suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and older; $6.75 for those under 60. Reserve at least one day in advance by calling 252-2882. Frozen meals are also available for people over 60 in Stutsman County.
Monday: pizza casserole, green beans, corn bread with margarine, tangy coleslaw, assorted fruit pie
Tuesday: BBQ chicken, hash brown bake, mixed vegetable, dark sweet cherries
Wednesday: meatballs in brown gravy, whipped potato with gravy, broccoli cuts, mandarin orange gelatin
Thursday: steak in mushroom sauce, escalloped potato, baked squash, strawberry glaze salad
Friday: roast beef, whipped potato with gravy, carrot krinkles, chilled peaches
*100 percent whole wheat bread, margarine, milk and coffee with all meals
