DeLight Jewett and ElRay Eldon were married Feb. 15, 1952, at Ebenezer Evanglicul United Brethren Church in Streeter, with the Rev. Sam Graf officiating. A reception was held later that day at the Fischer farm east of town (Germania township). A neighbor Edna Gums cared for meal while they were exchanging their vows. Knoephla was on the menu. Sixty-five years later they are still making knoephla, and ElRay is always a salesman.
Lifelong supporters of the Streeter community, they get involved in every help group.
