MSU's renovation project under budget
MINOT (AP) -- A renovation project at Minot State University's Swain Hall is expected to come in about $1 million under the $13.3 million budget.
Plant Services director Roger Kluck said the savings could be used for another campus project.
About $5 million of the project is being funded through federal stimulus dollars. The rest is state and local funding.
The renovated building will be the home for the teacher education, human performance and athletic training majors. It will have a gym for class use for physical education and fitness majors.
University officials said the project benefited from a relatively warm November and should be done by next fall.
